CascadeSounds happened in Dublin over the course of the last couple of years, mostly as a result of the shitty weather and boring office-life.
Dave and Mick got together to see what kind of music they could come up with and turned out to be pretty good at it. They recorded a 4-track EP in Mick's home studio that generated enough interest to warrant recruiting a full line-up for gigs. That was when Frank and Brian signed up and, having just recorded a second EP in Sun Studio (Temple Bar), they're building momentum and are ready to spread the word.
It's easy to hear a lot of influences in the sound - especially from the mid 90s, with acts like Ian Brown, the Verve and Spiritualized being mentioned often - but the sound is definitely their own and it's varied enough to get attention.
